I have owned many if the FZ series. I think the first was 3.1 mgs and I still have great photos taken with it. I have also had the FZ150, the FZ200, and now own the FZ300. I have never had a problem with any of them. Since the Leica lens, going all the way to 600mm at 2.8, I have probably had a higher rate of "keeper" photos than with any other cameras I have owned. And Panasonic clearly listens to its critics, as the 300 corrected many of the comparatively minor handling problems of its predecessors. And added weather protection.
I have a G6, G7 and G85 as well. Great cameras.
